老王探店#Lao Wangtandian# When visiting the town, I accidentally found this Michelin restaurant. The restaurant is mainly white with a careful service. The appetizer soup with bread before the meal is rich and delicious. Seafood platter is very careful, each seafood is matched with different sauces, tastes different, ingredients are fresh, tape, octopus is great! The T-bone steak is too large, divided into 2 plates, the burnt aroma outside, especially the greased part, it is particularly fragrant, the inside is fresh and with juice, the original taste is very good!

KIMJUNYIUN2025I really admire the waiter's attitude in handling the situation. When we arrived, two people were having a conflict in the restaurant. The waiter coordinated the situation very well and gave them a free dish. It was really good.

The chef served us a bonus bean soup with cod and olive oil. It was unusual and delicious combination. We enjoyed chatting with our waiter Marina and appreciate her recommendations on menu selection! We were not staying at this lovely bed and breakfast villa, but this place is worth a separate stay, maybe next visit to Lucca and Tuscany

If meat is what your looking for you won’t find it any better or tastier than at Il Maialetto. The price points are very good as well and they have a substantial wine list.

Mains - steak on ruca with Parmesan flakes / Cacio e Pepe / penne bolognese/ risotto col pancetta e crema di zuccha dessert - tiramisu/ crema Catalina. 1 liter of red house wine and a couple cans of sprite for the kids. It was fantastic.
